Where are you?

Alternatively junction 30 off the M25 then A13 signposted Basildon/Wickford turnoff, which is the A132, follow signs to Wickford, you will find us on the left. See map at 'finding us'.
Postcode for Sat Nav users is
SS14 3JH

Do I need to book?  No, just turn up.

What time do I need to get there?  We open at 6am but you can come any time up until 10am if you are selling, buyers can come anytime.

If I need to leave early, can I get out?
Yes some lucky people sell out and leave at
9am. You can leave any time you like; we've planned the field with wide aisles, to give access to accommodate emergency vehicles, also assisting anyone wanting to leave early.

How do I know if the boot sale is on?   You can always telephone (01268 285145) before you set off. We have an answer phone; this will always be on for information.

Why would you be closed?   In long spells of bad weather, rain in particular, the field gets too wet. Or it was raining Sunday morning as we tried to set up. You may wake up to sunshine, but at 6am we were getting wet.

What's wrong with a wet field?     It's not a case of putting on wellys and waterproofs, but a case of sinking down to your axels, slipping over in the mud and hurting yourself.

Can I hire Dress Rails or a table?     Yes, please see site info here for details.

What is your season ? Our season is from the beginning of March through to December if the weather allows and the fields are not too wet.

What are the pitch prices?    Cars are £10. Transit size vans are £13, cars with trailers are charged as vans £13 on Sundays. You can print a discount voucher here.

What time does the boot sale finish? Around 2pm, but don't forget, we have wide aisles, you can leave early, or stay to be the last one.

Are dogs allowed?  Yes, but only on a lead.  It goes without, saying ' scoop a poop.'  May we also remind you not to leave dogs in cars unattended.

DURING THE SUMMER, WE SAVE MANY DOGS FROM HOT CARS!

Has any one ever struck it lucky with 'the find of a life time?

Oh YES YES YES. But then everyone who comes here is lucky in one way or another.

Be lucky, have a great day and come back again & again.
