Do I need to book?

No, Just turn up.

What time do I need to get there?

On Saturday's we open 7am and Bank Holiday Monday we open at 8:00am, you can come at any time up until 10am if you are selling, buyers can come at anytime.

If I need to leave early, can I get out?

Yes, some lucky people sell out and leave at 9AM. You can leave any time you like; we've planned the field with wide aisles, to give access to accommodate emergency vehicles, also assisting anyone wanting to leave early.

How do I know if the boot sale is on?

You can always telephone (01268 285145) before you set off. We have an answer phone; this will always be on for information. It would also be shown on the homepage.

Why would you be closed?

In long spells of bad weather, rain in particular, the field gets too wet. Or it was raining Saturday/Bank Holiday Monday morning as we tried to set up. You may wake up to sunshine, but it could be that we were getting wet at 6:00am.

What's wrong with a wet field?

It's not a case of putting ones wellies and waterproofs on, but a case of sinking down to your axels, slipping over in the mud and hurting yourself.

Can I hire dress rails or a table?

Yes, please see site info here for details.

What is your season?

Our season is from the beginning of March through to October if the weather allows and the fields are not too wet.

What time does the boot sale finish?

Closing times may vary, but don't forget, we have wide aisles, you can leave early, or stay to be the last one.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, but only on a lead and muzzled. It goes without, saying 'scoop a poop'. May we also remind you not to leave dogs in cars unattended.

DURING THE SUMMER, WE SAVE MANY DOGS FROM HOT CARS!

Has anyone ever struck lucky with the find of a life time?

Be lucky, have a great day and come back again & again!
